Park Cho-rong (Korean: 박초롱; born March 3, 1991) is a South Korean idol singer, rapper and actress. She is the vocalist, main rapper and leader of Korean girl group A Pink, under A Cube Entertainment which is a sub-label of Cube Entertainment.

Biography
Cho-rong was born in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea on March 3, 1991. She has one older sister, and one younger sister.
She attended Byungsul Kindergarten, Bukang Elementary/Middle school and Chungbuk High School.
She learnt Hapkido for eight years since childhood, and has a 3rd grade black belt. Her father owns a Hapkido centre.
Career
Pre Debut
Chorong was shown at the end of Beast's "Shock" Japanese music video, and revealed as the group's leader.[1] It was also later revealed that she once auditioned for JYP Entertainment, which was held in 2009, and Chorong made it to the finals.[2]
A Pink
On April 19, 2012, A Pink's one year anniversary, they released a track titled "April 19th". The lyrics of the song was personally penned by Chorong.
Chorong also proved her dedication to perform on June 3rd's Inkigayo. Chorong encountered some problems starting from the beginning of their performance due to her heels. Her heels seems to be broken, but still, she continued to perform to the end
